Meet Ashley
Founder and Executive Director
Dr. Ashley N. Creem is the Founder and Executive Director of IRIS Behavioral Health Services (IRIS BHS). Dr. Creem has extensive expertise in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and has demonstrated exceptional leadership in establishing and overseeing the operations of two esteemed ABA organizations.
Before establishing IRIS BHS, Dr. Creem held positions, including Clinical Director at Applied Behavioral Strategies and Clinical Manager at Cultivate Behavioral Health and Education. In these roles, she provided clinical guidance to Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and successfully managed and supervised ABA operations throughout the state of Connecticut. Additionally, Dr. Creem currently serves as an Adjunct Professor within the M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program at Endicott College.
Dr. Creem is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Doctoral (BCBA-D) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA/LABA) in Connecticut and Massachusetts. She earned her master's degree in Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University and her Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Endicott College.
Dr. Creem's research interests focus on areas such as social skills training and the implementation of evidence-based practices to disseminate quality ABA services. Dr. Creem has numerous publications on teaching social skills and employing evidence-based strategies for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Her dissertation investigated the effective and efficient teaching of executive function skills relevant to social skills.
Dr. Creem is an active participant in the ABA community and actively advocates for the implementation of compassionate and evidence-based services. She has presented at national conferences and has dedicated five years of involvement with the Connecticut Association for Behavior Analysis (CTABA), further solidifying her commitment to advancing the field.
